Day 1

Arrival to Guwahati and Shillong

  • Arrive at Guwahati Airport before 11:30 AM and meet the trip captain.
  • Enjoy a scenic drive towards Shillong, the charming capital of Meghalaya.
  • En route, stop for breakfast and lunch.
  • Witness breathtaking views of the iconic Umiam Lake, Meghalaya's largest man-made lake.
  • Capture postcard-worthy photographs and soak in the serene surroundings.
  • Reach Shillong by evening and check into your hotel. Relax and explore the city at leisure.
  • Overnight Stay: Shillong
Day 2

Shillong to Cheerapunjee

  • After an early breakfast, visit the breathtaking Laitlum Canyon, known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic valley views.
  • Later, depart for Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of Meghalaya's most iconic destinations and famously known as one of the wettest places on Earth.
  • Witness scenic waterfalls, lush green hills, mist-covered landscapes, and deep gorges throughout the journey. After freshn-up visit the famous Wei Sawdong, Nohsngithiang Falls( Seven Sisters ) , Nohkalikai Falls & Mawsmai Cave .
  • Later evening return to accomodation for overnight stay.
Day 3

Shillong to Cheerapunjee

  • After an early breakfast, visit the breathtaking Laitlum Canyon, known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic valley views.
  • Later, depart for Cherrapunjee (Sohra), one of Meghalaya's most iconic destinations and famously known as one of the wettest places on Earth.
  • Witness scenic waterfalls, lush green hills, mist-covered landscapes, and deep gorges throughout the journey. After freshn-up visit the famous Wei Sawdong, Nohsngithiang Falls( Seven Sisters ) , Nohkalikai Falls & Mawsmai Cave .

  • Descend approximately 3,300 steps through lush forests and hanging bridges.
  • Reach the iconic Double-Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat.
  • Feeling fit? Push on for another hour to Rainbow Falls, where the sunlit mist creates a permanent, magical spectrum.
  • Walk across these centuries-old natural wonders.
  • Relax by the crystal-clear pools and take a refreshing dip. Trek back to Tyrna and return to Cherrapunjee.
  • Overnight Stay: Cherrapunjee.
Day 4

Double Decker Bridge

  • After breakfast, drive to Tyrna Village, the starting point of the trek.
  • Descend approximately 3,300 steps through lush forests and hanging bridges.
  • Reach the iconic Double-Decker Living Root Bridge in Nongriat.
  • Feeling fit? Push on for another hour to Rainbow Falls, where the sunlit mist creates a permanent, magical spectrum.
  • Walk across these centuries-old natural wonders.
  • Relax by the crystal-clear pools and take a refreshing dip. Trek back to Tyrna and return to Cherrapunjee.
  • Overnight Stay: Cherrapunjee.
  • After breakfast, check out from your stay and begin your journey towards Mawlynnong, famously known as the Cleanest Village in Asia.
  • Explore the village's well-maintained pathways and experience its unique charm.
  • The main attractions are the Root Bridge & it.s cleanliness.
  • Later, proceed towards Shnongpdeng/Dawki, home to the crystal-clear Umngot River.
  • Spend the evening by the riverside or indulge in adventure activities like Boating, Cliff Jumping, Kayaking, and Ziplining (at an additional cost).
  • Relax amidst the serene surroundings and enjoy the riverside camping experience.
  • Overnight Stay: Riverside Camp in Shnongpdeng/Dawki.
Day 5

Dawki to Shillong

  • Wake up to see the beauty of East Khasi hills, have a delicious breakfast in the morning.
  • Leave for Jowai to visit India's most magical waterfall: Krang Suri Waterfalls. Get drenched and swim in the natural pools.
  • Ride towards Shillong after witnessing this attractive place. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Day 6

Shillong to Guwahati and Departure

  • Morning after breakfast we will drive back to Guwahati. Say your goodbyes to your new friends, making plans for a reunion tour to ease the pain - not forgetting there are so many places left to explore.
Day 7

Additional notes

  • Rain Gear: A high-quality raincoat or poncho is an absolute must, regardless of the season.
  • Trekking shoes/hiking boots: Essential for treks to Double Decker Root Bridge or Wei Sawdong. Choose good grip.
  • Daypack: A sturdy 20-30L backpack to carry water, extra clothes, and daily essentials while exploring.
  • A light Jacket , A woollen cap, gloves, and a scarf for chilly mornings and evenings.
  • Layered Clothing: Pack quick-dry clothes. Include fleece jackets and thermal innerwear if you're traveling during the winter or Around .
  • Trip Captain will be provided only for groups of 15 or more participants. For groups with fewer than 15 participants, a professional Driver-cum-Guide will accompany the tour.
  • It is suggested to book trains/flights reaching Guwahati not later than10AMon the trip start date. Similarly, on trip end date, book returning flight/trains leaving post 4 PM.
  • Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. May cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.
